There's really a lot of stories that are hidden within Touhou due to not being fished out by fanworks. Can't believe that Cirno of all characters has such an interesting one. We often just point and laugh at the fairies but they really are quite complex creatures. Being the manifestation of nature will do that, I guess.
Also, Chur-no? For some reason I thought you were a sir-no guy.

Oh dang, I just thought Cirno was basically just the comedy funny haha fairy in the games. And while that’s still mostly true, it’s cool to learn that’s there is actually quite a lot of substance behind it and the way she acts. Thanks for sharing!

I bought Touhou 9 some months ago, and although I can't really play with someone in pvp, I still liked the game for the stories that the single player mode has. Thanks for making a video about one of the most interesting stories in the game, and happy Cirno day! ⑨
Edit: I actually managed to play this game with some friends a few days ago. It was fun to see their reactions as non-touhou players

I really liked this video. Most videos related to Touhou are about memes, gameplay, or characters and end up ignoring the actual stories and lessons found in Zun's works that I think needs to be explored more often. I would love to see more videos exploring those stories within Touhou that many fans often overlook to learn a thing or two about Zun's view of the world he shares with the series.

Maybe next year we could get a video on Cirno's campaign in Touhou 16 which to my experience is one of the most amusing campaigns in all of the series.

What a nice video! This story was always so interesting to me because it's strange to think Fairies can be just as introspective as any other person but their ability to get absorbed by simply joys is too powerful so they never do for the most part, in the end Cirno realizes that's actually a strength and Aya is the perfect character to relay that kinda mindset too.

Out of ALL the characters from touhou, Cirno was the last one I was expecting to have a morbid twist yet bittersweet end to her campaign.

Even brings like Faries in Gensokyo won’t last forever, and Cirno’s fate of going to heaven or hell is still unknown, but she might as well live doing what she loves while time Is still there
