MTB Hawk Trail | Santiago Oaks Mountain Biking 2022 Trail Guide

Santiago Oaks is like a mini bike park with all it's fun trails and areas. One of the most popular black Diamond advanced trails is Hawk. Hawk starts with a waterfall section and has another difficult section in the middle. I break down the options of the middle section and show you the easiest and fastest lines. Hawk is on the ridge where Grasshopper and Bumblebee meet. The best place to park is in Irvine Park, but free parking is also available nearby. This video is shot in 4K on a GoPro Hero 8 with Boost Stabilization. Even with this mode it is a bit of a rough watch. Enjoy! #mtbmor

Hahaha I was literally just there few hours ago shooting this too! Darn it, you beat me to it lol. Ya, I take the middle line on the waterfall section, then swing back up grasshopper to do it again. Awesome riding and trail breakdown. Love it.

Hawk has a few rough sections. The camera struggled to keep up. I will get a new chesty mount and play with some of the setting to produce a smoother POV. I feel the guide is worth posting.

Thanks for all the line options. I usually just ride the same lines over and over. It takes time to figure out different ones.

Just rode Hawk the other day. Needs a little trimming on that bush at the top of the waterfall and the one coming off the left exit. - I usually go directly left of the bush. Love this trail. Great video.
