That was fun. Thanks for taking us along. I had that Radio Shack programmable remote and used it for at least a decade. It was awesome. One cool thing about it was that you programmed it using your existing remotes. So, I could put the TV power plus the volume control on the sound system, and the cable box controls on the same "selection" and create a hybrid remote that controlled the entire entertainment system without "switching." I still long for a remote that can do as much.

OMFG that dot matrix printer brings back my C-64 days. I feel 2nd hand stores are WAAAAY overpriced for OLD junk or even old anything

I like finding Atari 8 bit hardware at thrift stores, but there has been no finds in the last few years. I did get a food processor for $5 a while back. Then I took it home, filled it up with alphabet soup, now I have a word processor.

Great thrifting video! The Saturn is a cool console, but the game prices on eBay are super high right now.

The prices on the Snes stuff were so good! Super Metroid is hovering around $100! Wow,

That boxed jvc videorecorder could be used in the usa. It was 110 to 240v switchable, and it had ntsc playback. Look at the logo in the top right corner. It says m-pal and ntsc. A lot of european vcr’s of the 90’s where able to playback ntsc tapes on a pal tv screen. With the bonus of having a scart plug.

The coolest things I found recently are a music CD locally, and then Freddi Fish and a copy of Sad Macs, Bombs, and Other Disasters (3rd edition) while out of town). Saw some laserdiscs at that store but didn't get them

Neat finds, especially that word processor. I wonder if that thing has the awful Smith Corona Leaf Spring switches in it's keyboard. Seems like a ribbon problem as in one shot you could see the impression of the "e" on the paper from the daisy wheel even though it didn't get inked onto the page. Really wish I'd had the guts to mess around with my Dad's old Magnavox Videowriter before it got tossed out at e waste

(4:57) This reminds me of someone who listed a Kobo Glo HD as a regular Kobo Glo. Of course, I bought it and also because it had a faded screen.
(7:57) That looks to me like a collection of mockbusters.
(19:35) I see someone wanted to have a Maroon 5 themed iPod…

I checked my local thrift store earlier today, but it was a complete bust.

17:44 The copyright on the screen is 1993. That is extremely late for a dedicated word processor-monitor-printer!
