Rafael announces Sky Sonic interceptor to counter

Israeli defense company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems has unveiled a new interceptor missile designed to counter hypersonic threats. Dubbed Sky Sonic, the weapon design will be showcased at the Paris Air Show next week with a focus on European customers.

The interceptor is a "major technological leap in hypersonic missile defense." It can reportedly neutralize threats that travel at up to 10 times the speed of sound with exceptional maneuverability and stealth.
