Rescued from poverty?! I grew up in a big house in the Philippines, went to a private Catholic school, had a career. Not everyone marries American men to "escape." I live in a smaller home in America now but my husband is all I need. He is a great provider, protector, and leader. I swore off American women in 2019, found a filipina in 2020 and I must say it was a total shock to me how I was treated. I have never been treated with respect by a woman. Passport lady here! I decided to look outside Canada for a husband because I found it hard to find the kind of man I wanted over here. As a nominal Muslim I wanted to find a man who was similar and at the same time a somewhat traditional minded man i.e. who could and would be willing to provide for a family, assertive, masculine, family values, a leader, etc. Not that it was impossible to find in Canada but not easy because there are few of them and they're highly sought after. So I understand the motivation of passport bros. There are the type of women they seek in America but it seems few. Why not go to another country where you are more likely to find the kind of person you're looking for? Why should your quest for love, happiness and life long partner be confined to the artificial borders of the country you're from? Choosing your spouse is one of the biggest decisions in your life. Assuming you don't get divorced, your spouse is the person you spend the most time with in your entire life (more than children, parents, friends, co-workers). If you need to go to another country to find probably the most important person in your life, why not? I ended up fining the love of my life in Turkey. My husband met all the criteria I was looking for in a spouse and more! Not to mention he's a great father (our son is about to turn 1 years old!). Side note: my husband and I both agree being married to someone from another culture makes life more fun, interesting and it gives our children an expanded world view from the get go.

My dad is a passport bro! Married back in 1984 He’s Irish and my mum is Filipino. Born and raised in Australia! They had 5 of us kids. My mum is freaking amazing. So kind and nurturing, everyone loves her.

She supported dad in his business and never bitched about house duties. Duties us kids helped her with as we got older of course. She trusted my dad to provide for the family, and encouraged him along the way. Now they are retired and just hanging out 👌 Being raised with different values to most Australians..
