I bought an Omega Ploprof

I bought a titanium Omega Ploprof (227.90.55.21.01.001). Can you believe it?

I bought mine in 2010. I still wear it most days and I still love it. I do get stopped occasionally in airports or hotels by guys that know watches. Interestingly in 10 years I’ve never seen another one in the wild.

Your videos keep getting better, and I always look forward to them. Just a few comments....
1. Your wife is a keeper. Obviously I’ve never met her, but the only comment that I get from my wife is that she thinks my Panerai is hideous, or rolling her eyes when she tells me she signed for another package.
2. I love it that you can put anything on a Colareb strap and it looks great.
3. Anyone who can use “eschewing” in a watch video gets extra points.

No question it’s a badass looking watch. I’ve never actually seen one in the wild. At a dealer, yeah. But never on anyone’s wrist and I’ve been to more countries than most. Having those micro adjustments on the clasp is HUGE. It makes all the difference in the world for wearability.

Omega has crossed into objet d'art territory, which is a great thing coming from an old brand. Many companies (ahem, Rolex) are looking a little staid in recent years, so it's nice to see these outlandish releases.
