Wow, such inspiring talk Gianluca, i thank you for this piece of your passion become conference, and just like you, i'm an EE atm, and i'm fascinating with ML technologies out there, but my field is more related to Distorsion Factors in Sine wave, and took a lot of data about a project that im working on about Harmonic Generation and the Factor of utility of the facility and writing about better policies to use Energy in a proper way, hoping that research will help someone who needs to understand the perturbation phenomena in an Electrical System and how we can develop differents strategies to solve it, greetings and congratulations.

I appreciate his passion for AI but his speech is somewhat misleading. Firstly, AI is not synonymous with machine learning. The former is a superset and the latter is its subset. Secondly, we DO NOT learn just by digesting lots of data. We need context. We need a mental image of the world around us to assimilate the endless data stream thrown at us. Machine learning algorithms typically do not have that capability. That is why it has hit a major bottleneck. Feeding tons of data to a computer is not enough anymore.
