CORRECTION: The Chart says 780M when it's of course the 890M. Forgot to change the Name. Values are correct though.

Hopefully Intel keeps improving their drivers. The fact that it can match 890m in some cases is very impressive given just how far behind they were last gen.

Crazy performance for igpus. Sorry graphics cards, you're becoming less relevant for normal people

wow this generation of intel has really pulled something special the performance is similar to 890m despite running at same or lower wattage

guess when engineers are hired to run the company rather than accountants you get better results

i'm just happy that both are viable now

Whoa! Getting 50+ FPS on Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080p resolution from an iGPU is crazy. The AMD Radeon 890M is worth the money for people that have multi-core power needs for work. Fortune 500 programmers using Java primarily. Non-programming engineers will use a dedicated GPU.

Battery life isn't as good as Lunar Lake CPUs, but 8 hours of regular use unplugged and 2 hours of gaming use unplugged is still respectable.

At 30 watts they are similar. Radeon has years of drivers. I wouldnt be surprised if I'm about a year Intel is ahead.

These things have gotten insane. Incredible performance for an igpu. PC handhelds about to take off big big. Glad Intel is worth speaking of in this world again as well. Competition is king

The chart seems wrong? Also Intel still done better than these UHD/Iris Xe
Waiting for the 288V/HX370 at full power
The Arc 140V still get a great performance at low power, sometimes beating the HX370 at 50W

Impressive for Igpu now!.. my old laptop R3 5300u (vega 6 igpu) fell slow like amd A series 😂😂
I hope soon can upgrade for my old laptop 🙃

What laptop was used for the 890m? Also the Zenbook S14? My understanding is the S16 version is power limited, but (oddly enough) not the S14 version. Not sure about Vivobook version.

Great video! These tests give me some hope for intel to make some progress

Some kids never understand that Gpu will not never death also Ryzen ai 9 hx is very expensive and if we make a pc from that price which that laptop is coming on that price we easily make a pc with rtx 4060ti

POV: Everyone thinks both CPUs provide the same kind of performance until you see the RAM usage

Is Intel scaling better with the watts?

love to see this competition, between amd and intel, next will be curious to see ARM vs x86 in game, video editing or 3d aplication

Overclocked* Radeon 890M @ 89W vs GTX 1060 or RX 480 at some point? 🙏

*(+500Mhz on LPDDR5X-7500, +200Mhz on 890M boost clock, and "unlocked" 89W power limit via Universal x86 Tuning Utility on the Beelink SER9 or similar)

Why do you sometimes use upscaling and sometimes you don't? Would have been better with the same settings across all games.

Do the wattages presume package power or just CPU power? Since LNL has on-die memory, it accounts for a lil 2w of the package power

Could you also test if it can run ghost of tsushima?
