Judge fines former President Donald Trump $354 million

Former President Donald Trump must pay $354 million for fraudulent business practices, Judge Arthur Engoron has ruled.

Trump's sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have been fined $4 million apiece, and former Trump Organization CFO has been fined $1 million.

Not mentioned: Trump is cited as an individual in the case. That is, he's personally responsible for the fine. This means that his company can't declare bankruptcy and avoid the fine. Also, New York state law requires a minimum of 110% of the fine, in cash, in order to appeal. This means that it can't be assets, such as real estate or stocks. If Trump doesn't have the money, he can't appeal.
