The sensor has an infrared cut line inside the PCB, I took the UV lens off several cameras, but no UV. Until I saw the IMX tinker cameras. Some have a very good sensor, but its remarkably expensive compared to the addled Chinese versions. Most use a mipi interface, somebody thought it was an HDMI out, so instead you buy a mipi to HDMI dongle. I'd be glad to know of the exact wheabouts of the physical IR cut trace, as there's no markings on the big box discount types. However, a imx 334 seams to be the best budget infrared sensor for 4K. It has to deal with processing capabilities. Even a professional camera is basically a viewfinder, a creative club license, and the processor that came from a 20 million dollar fabrication bin.

after 3 uses the function selector button (right hand side top) stopped "clicking" and I could not change to TL, also the power on/off button does not change functions either, after all the bad reviews and some good ones I decided to buy this not so cheap camera, but I am sorry now. Money down the drain!
