I had the same problem with ''people''. I never noticed this. Thank you for one more lesson!

Thank you Steve. As a Chinese speaker, I think this lesson is helpful for me. But it's so short. So please continue to give our Chinese people more lessons in future. For example, I am often confused with the different sounds of the letter "o" in different words. Would you please give us a lesson to answer my question? Thank you very much!

People is easy, how come Chinese people couldn't say people???? Wait, I thought I was always saying it correctly until I hear "pee po" and " pee pull". Thanks!

Learn Americanized English not world English. Jump over Indian Engineers and right into American companies. Pay attention to Slang: Street Smarts. Better, yet. Learn the type of English practiced in Nordic countries. Put yourself above American engineers. The whole world is waiting for kind and smart people to come into their lives.
