ΟΡΓΑΝΩΣΗ ΠΑΡΑΓΩΓΗΣ MASSIVE PRODUCTIONS
Η Μικτή Δημοτική Χορωδία Αθηνών ιδρύθηκε το 1999 και αποτελείται από επαγγελματίες μουσικούς - τραγουδιστές.
Η χορωδία σε συνεργασία με τη Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα και την Ορχήστρα Δωματίου του Δήμου Αθηναίων, καθώς επίσης και ορχήστρες άλλων φορέων όπως η Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα της ΕΡΤ, η Λαϊκή Ορχήστρα "Μίκης Θεοδωράκης" κ.ά., έχει παρουσιάσει στην μέχρι τώρα πορεία της τα εξής έργα: 9η Συμφωνία, Fantasia του Ludwig Van Beethoven, Requiem, Cosi fan tutte, C minor Messe του Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Deutsches Requiem, Liebeslieder, Nanie, Gesang der Parzen του Johannes Brahms, Βαλπουριανή Νύχτα, Όνειρο Θερινής Νυκτός του Felix Mendelssohn, Gloria του Vivaldi, Stabat Mater του Pergolesi, Messiah του Georg Friedrich Handel, Magnificat του Johann Sebastian Bach, Ιπτάμενος Ολλανδός του Richard Wagner, Sokrates του Erik Satie, Δάφνις & Χλόη του Maurice Ravel, Pavane, Requiem του Gabriel Faure, Carmina Burana του Carl Orff, Συμφωνία της Λεβεντιάς του Μανώλη Καλομοίρη, Tres in Unam του Ελευθέριου Καλκάνη, Ζορμπάς, Canto General, Άξιον Εστί του Μίκη Θεοδωράκη, Ελεύθεροι Πολιορκημένοι του Γιάννη Μαρκόπουλου, Αποκάλυψις του Ιωάννου του Τάσου Ιωαννίδη, Εαρινές Φωνές του Γιώργου Παζαΐτη.
Τον Ιούνιο του 2001, συμμετείχε στις συναυλίες του διάσημου Γάλλου συνθέτη Jean Michel Jarre στο θέατρο Ηρώδου του Αττικού. Από την ίδρυσή της, τη χορωδία διευθύνει ο μαέστρος Σταύρος Μπερής.

The City of Athens Mixed Choir was founded in 1999 and consists of professional musicians - singers .
The choir collaborated many times with the City of Athens Symphony Orchestra and the City of Athens Chamber Orchestra, as well as other orchestras such as the Symphony Orchestra of ERT, the " Mikis Theodorakis" Popular Orchestra etc.
It has presented so far the following projects : 9th Symphony & Fantasia of Ludwig Van Beethoven, Requiem & Cosi fan tutte & Messe in C minor of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, The Deutsches Requiem & Liebeslieder & Nanie & Gesang der Parzen of Johannes Brahms, Valpouriani Night & Midsummer Night's Dream by Felix Mendelssohn, Gloria of Vivaldi, Stabat Mater of Pergolesi, Messiah of Georg Friedrich Handel, Magnificat of Johann Sebastian Bach, Flying Dutchman of Richard Wagner, Sokrates of Erik Satie, Daphnis & Chloe by Maurice Ravel, Pavane & Requiem by Gabriel Faure, Carmina Burana by Carl Orff Symphony of Levendia by Manolis Kalomiris , Tres in Unam by Eleftherios Kalkanis , Zorba & Canto General & Axion Esti by Mikis Theodorakis , Free Besieged by Markopoulos , Revelation by John Tasos Ioannidis , Spring Voices by George Pazaitis and many more.
It has also presented "a capella" concerts of works by Monteverdi, Palestrina, Vanchieri , Schuman, Saint-Saens, Bardos, Brahms, Verdi, Theodorakis , Hadjidakis , Savvopoulos , Plessas, Taylor , Lygnou , Adami , Balta , Anthony Ioannidis , Konstantinidis , Papakonstantinou etc.
In a tribute concert , it has presented in collaboration with the other City Ensembles , works by Verdi, Berstein, Brahms, Strauss, Mozart, etc. In June 2001 , it participated in several concerts of famous French composer Jean Michel Jarre at the theater of Herodes Atticus .
Finally the choir has appeared in various festivals in Greece, such as the International Music Festival of Santorini, the Patmos Sacred Music Festival , as well as various other Choral Festival . Since its inception, the choir conductor is Stavros Beris .
