Work began Wednesday to convert five empty lots into Edmonton’s new Warehouse Park

There will be problems to be sure (see below, and there will be more), but I am glad this is going to be a park. Its a terrible eyesore and Edmonton can't be a big 'Grand Prairie' forever. I support this development.

park? we need skyscrappesr and tourism. it drives businesses and we don't need any more parks. it doesn't generate money. it spends money. also, alberta is already full of trees and what are they thinking? we just going to pay MORE property tax and other taxes for this park?
