While watching a video of every death in this movie, I realized that when a program is derezzed, the lights on their disc all turn off. You can see it in the first slowmo shot in this video too.

I truly did enjoy this fight scene it's like the dics you throw can possibly super graphical powers to give you special abilities and dangerous weaponry gadgets i like it.
