There's a live version of Eagle, one of my favourites, which is wonderful. Benny keeps looking back at the band and smiling, they're really cooking.

I feel like the live versions are weaker instrumentally, typically, but vocally they are frequently better live. Frida in particular was phenomenal live, you really hear how good her pitch and projection are. The ‘Midnight Special’ live performances of Mamma Mia and Fernando are in particular amazing.

I got to see them live in 1977 in Australia, had 3rd row seats, I'm not too sure how good the band etc was as I just wanted to see Agnetha, more stunning irl than on tv, to be that beautiful and have that huge talent was a gift from God, some say the 2 guys made her famous but as many know she got famous on her own before ABBA, I will never forget the time I was in her presence.

One day, Björn said that Abba wasn't very good live and I agree with him. I'm a big Abba fan since the beginning and I have never been pleasantly surprised at a performance. Abba is a studio master and even now, I continue to discover new little things in its music. The live versions can't compete.

They also did a great live version of Mamma Mia on midnight special. Still waiting for the YouTube channel to upload those videos. They only did dancing Queen so far which was a studio lip sync.

Benny, Bjorn and Mickie added to the movie and the live 1979 tours. It’s not the actual basic singing. They do admit to it

This video should have been called "Abba Live "and" Studio Versions" since we are talking about two different things things.

It is unfair to compare both versions since it is difficult to recreate the full-studio-abba-version. Even Benny & Bjorn have stated that.

Although A&F's voices are impeccable, the live & studio versions are different things. No version is better than the other.
