VMware vSAN is a powerful softwared-defined storage solution that provides a highly robust and resilient solution for running modern storage in your data center. This video shows the process of bringing a failed host back into a vSAN-enabled cluster after repairing a drive failure and shows the steps to add the ESXi host to the vSphere cluster, create the disk group, and then resynchronize objects.

You can read my blog post here detailing how to force delete vSAN Datastore from ESXi host when you need to take the host out of the cluster and get rid of the vSAN partitions:

Hello, I had to remove a host from the cluster after a rebuild. When trying to add it back in I get an error stating that the host resource is in use. So when I go to the networking tab to add it back in that error prevents it from displaying. Any suggestions?
