My dad made pancakes for me and my sisters every weekend. For several years I wouldn't eat them as had them so frequently. Only as an adult did I start them again

Actually the PB and jelly was the poor cousin of the PB and Jam/preserves. When I was 11 in 'the summer of '57, we started getting Jif peanut spread. I developed such a yen for Jif and strawbarry jame that lasted 2 years that I would get up in the wee hours, and make one and eat it

What you missed is the English Muffin Pizza. Split an English muffin, put the pizza makings on each half and put it in the oven to cook, When done take it out and let it coll to an edibile temperature and enjoy. In SE New England, the best is the Gold Medal English muffins, the seasinings they use go well with pizza ingrediennts. One of the best meat toppings is Gasbar's chourico (portuguese sausage) which they sell in hot dog size and shape portions. Just slice theise thinly and put them on top of the sauce and cheeae (I prefer a mix of mozzarella and parisan) and cook and enjoy

No way, that the ramen noodle soup bowls. Are something of the past and wrap sandwiches and caprese salad.I see it around a lot today and it’s nothing much that grandma prepared back then to me.I disagree that they associated with that back then a lot. These are foods that are eaten often currently.

Today if you want a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you have to eat it at home because you have to be careful of people with peanut allergies

Never heard of quesadillas in the 70's and 80's. Only heard of them in the 2000's. Not something people grew up with in the midwest. And only heard of peanut butter and banana was an elvis thing. Didnt know of anyone that ate those. We ate peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches. Lots of hamburger helper, stuffed green peppers, SOS, ring baloney., meatloaf, beef stroganoff using hamburger, roast Sunday dinners. And always jello. This guy is very uninformed. Wraps? Some of these are recent. Not by any means vintage. Do your homework
