Joker Knives Trampero S Review (English)

Joker Knives Trampero S made with curly birch scales and Sandvik's 14C28N, nitrogen enhanced high carbon steel, specifically developed for knives by Sandvik in Sweden, some years ago. I love this steel and the Spanish know how to heat treat it like no tomorrow.
This small Sandi ground knife (the Trampero S) is very comfortable and very useful. The scandi of course is a proven grind for bushcraft things.

I own the Joker Campero with beechwood scales, same steel but with a flat grind. It‘s a hell of a sharp knife, sturdy and all I need for a day out in the woods. Nice video as always, best wishes from Germany.

I love my two embers!
The first one I bought was the flat grind. My wife kinda stole it as her kitchen knife .
So I got one in scandi with fire steel . Can’t go wrong with joker. Great value.
Good video.

This is an excellent bushcraft knife. Mine came with a flat grind. This is my back up knife for the ER ontos. The ontos is my chopper/prybar 😅 and the trampero for fine detailed works and food prep. Truly a potent combination. Nice review. Keep 'em coming.

Thanks, mate. I'm thinking of getting either the Trampero or the Ember. The Trampero looks a little more comfortable. BS9 is the designer team. They have designed many knives for Joker.

I love to see a knife being used for real camping tasks instead of these knife channels with a choreographed scripts. This is a Replacement for all those fake Kephart knives. Thanks 😊

Great video!
Joker knives have great design and attention to detail. It doesn’t take an expert to notice the sharpening choil, small but useful guard, pattern matching handle scales on both sides and proper sheath. There are companies charging double the money for a lot less.

PS. Why 2 watches?

WHAT?! Fire Making without fire steel? Where are tar and feathers? 😁
Joker knives are great! With handles made for men.

4mm is just to thick for scandi grinds, ...yes they work but you lose alot of the detail carving ability. The relief edge on the belly to tip ends up to abrupt causing convexing . Unfortunately it loses more edge if the knife gets sharpened at all. . I'd go with their thinner designs, they are gorgeous blades and affordable so I get why people like them.

I wish they would do 3mm, there's no need for the extra weight .

I purchased a Nordic Knife Design Forster 100 and it's exactly the same . 4.2 mm and a smaller relief edge at the upsweep.

Speaking if Spanish knives, are you still using your Cudeman 299?
