Discord.JS v12 Invite Link Tracker Tutorial

If you are using discord.js v13, be sure to pass the option { cache: false } to the invites.fetch method.

I was at 7 minutes and 3 seconds (7:03) and I can't get past this. I run the code and everything is fine, I invite someone to the channel, but I don't get any errores on console, neither crashes the bot, neither writes on the console the messa that the code was used. Can you help me with this problem please? Thanks for your time.

Uhm so you are checking if the channel name is welcome or it's a text channel so it's finding the first text channel and tryna post it there I'm pretty sure you should have used && and not ||

there is one thing, that when someone created a link that only for one user, the invite link/code will delete, if the invite link is not there the bot will not work. So you have to change the error message with the same embed but without the usedInvite.inviter instad type there Unknown

reason of the failure with the welcome is because you put || instead of && i believe

Using or to check if it's a text channel? It should be using && not ||
