Andy Scott is a founding member of Sweet, beginning his journey with the band in 1970, as the band’s guitarist, keyboardist, and also a vocalist. He has achieved great success with the band selling more than 55 million records, having 34 #1 chart positions worldwide, touring all over the world, and influencing generations of musicians along the way. Andy and Sweet continue to inspire fans to this very day, and they have an offering of brand new music for everyone. Full Circle is the latest record. It gets released on September 20th on the Metalville Records label.

In this interview, Andy tells us about the writing process for this new record, if it will be the final record for Sweet, and where the coming tour will take the band. Andy also talks about working with AC/DC's Brian Johnson before he joined AC/DC, and if we might get an autobiography and a longer beard, and how he's making the world a better place.

Like to see another QSP project. Loved the first one and saw the songs performed on the Gold Coast Au. Lots of fun.

The formula for a typical Sweet record, well back in the 70s was next to Andy`s guitar sound and the harmonies definitely Micks drums!
They sound so rich up to maybe "Off The Record" - I always suspect it was some recipe they adapted from early producer Phil Wainman as he was a drummer himself.

If you can’t say anything nice about someone, don’t say anything so I won’t say anything about him.
