Really enjoyed the information (thank you so much), your channel is delightful... The feed sack I remember it well.. my grandmother used to make my play clothes with those and with scraps of course were used for quilting. They were beautiful. And with the very very small piece she always done a crazy quilt, nothing was wasted.... Nothing!.. I was old enough to remember that they quit having feed sack what t h e s e materials ....I never knew about that same material on yardage and neither did they. That was a sad time in our lives😢 when we no longer could get printed fabric on feed sacks. LOL.... keep them coming❤❤❤

The flour sack companies did the same with their cloth bags. Mothers used the fabric to make dresses for their daughters. The manufacturers saw this, so they made their Saks with a pretty print.

My Mom told me that my Grandma and other women in the community would trade flour sacks so they could have enough of the same fabric to make a new dress.

I avoid ALL pinwheel blocks as for me, they end up with a marble-hard lump in the center 🙁
