The Black Eyed Dogs are set to release their new LP ‘Revelator’ on Record Store Day this year.

The vinyl only LP will be available in all good record shops on Saturday 13th April 2019.

A full concert film ‘Year Of The Dog’, documenting the recording of the album will follow.

In true Black Eyed Dogs fashion, the record was cut live, in just one day, in front of an audience at Real World Studios.

To celebrate the album release and concert film, The Blues Kitchen has previewed four performances from the album:

Silver Liner
Revelator (Gillian Welch Cover)
21st Century Paranoid Blues
Ship Of Fools (Grateful Dead Cover)

This is the sound of a band in their element, playing off instinct, intuition and telepathy.

The band:
Nick Pini – Bass, Vocals
Georgina Leach – Violin, Vocals
Stephanie Jean Kid – Keys, Vocals
Dan See - Drums
Chris Hillman – Pedal Steel, Guitars
Ethan Johns – Guitars, Vocals

not bad, but it sounds like Southern Man., lol...might have been their intention, but the original´s charm, to me, at least, is the non diatonic stuff Rawlings does, the chromatical/dissonant stuff that always resolves...that and the notice this band´s albums are done live in a take in front of people, that is great....don´t know whether to barf or laugh when I hear those old recording studio war stories, people taking years to cut albums

Awesome, nearly as good as Warren Haynes & Railroad Earth's version.
