This was the closest Prince Buster ever got to a hit in the US. It was released here in 1967 (by then, already four years old) as a single first on Philips and then later on single and album on RCA Victor. I found out later that this was only the tip of an immense iceberg of works by a man who has been in the mix at every stage of Reggae music's development. This sexist mess of a record was performed for laughs and (to be honest) delivers them mightily. This is a potent piece of Reggae history.
