Only thing I'm confused about is, moissanite is an actual gem, only diamonds are slightly higher on th mohs scale. How could they coat a cheaper stone with moissanite? That's like saying cubic zirconia coated with diamond. Moissanite melts in a way that can be coated over less valuable gems or man made stones? If possible, wouldn't that process cost more to manufacture than just using real moissanite?
