Slang words you should know before coming to NZ

Before you get to New Zealand, these are some of the slang words you should know..😅

• Dairy: Corner store selling day-to-day essentials including milk, newspapers, and dollar lolly bags.
• Jandals: Flip flops/thongs. A bit like going barefoot, which Kiwis love!
• Togs: Swimming wear.
• Bro: An endearment for a close friend, usually a male.
• Eh: Pronounced ‘ay’. It's similar to ‘don’t you agree?’
• Yeah…nah: Technically means no, but it can also mean maybe. Go figure!
