I think Debbie Gibson is the real princess of Pop.

Debbie was not a manufactured, pre fabricated corporate hack, she had ability and talent. I will always cherish the Summers of the late 80's in NYC. It was a magical time because of Debbie and real artists.

I loved how random and carefree this video is. Music videos will never be like this again

Who else sat by the radio as a teen on a summer day listening to Casey Kasems top 40 with the breeze flowing through your bedroom windows waiting for this to come on the radio so you could record it on your brand new, freshly opened memorex cassette tape? Oh the memories 😌💙

Music is absolutely TIMELESS!! This song is still amazing. I'm 56 years old, and it's amazing to think back at how "simple" life was in the 80's. The BEST decade by far!

If i had a time machine, i would go back to the 80's, and stay there.
Do you think anyone in the 80's will believe me if i tell them about the future?

80s pop songs like this have some sort of ‘magical’ touch to it, like anything’s possible.

This song gets released when she was 16 and still in high school, doesn't let the instant fame go to her head and continues on staying in the same high school where my cousins also attended, saying she worked too hard to not stand with her classmates and graduate. She certainly could've moved anywhere in the country at that point or changed to a private school but she didn't which says a lot about her and what she accomplished while still in her teens and how a couple of years ago, she attended her high school's 30 year class reunion.

What a great pop song. Sounds as good today as in 1987.

1987 this black Detroit chick loved hearing this song while in beautiful California. Loved debbie Gibson's foolish beat and shake your love. Even this 60's chick thinks debbie Gibson's songs were great and loved her songwriting

I miss the 80s. No bills, no taxes, great movies and great music. Being an adult sucks.

My daughter was crazy for Debbie Gibson. Joined her fan club too. Debbie was six years older than her. I liked Debbie too. She was a good role model for my daughter.
