This is my daily driver. I love this Bible. I hope my daughter enjoys it after I’m gone.

I struggled so much to finally understand there's four kind of Ignatius Bibles, the New Testament Ignatius Bible, the Full Ignatius Bible and then there's the Ignatius New Testament Study Bible, and the Full Ignatius Study Bible version of those two. I was going insane. I just wanted a Full Catholic Bible that had the proper translation (and not exchanging Teaching with Traditions at will). Thanks for this video.

Great review! This Bible has somewhat of a sentimental value to be too. It was the Catholic Bible i used most when i was in the process of converting. Good translation and helpful notes without being overbearing. I wish the margins were bigger because the text goes pretty far into the center hinge when open. I'm not a huge fan of the text either. I think the letter spacing could have been increased more.

My my diocese, the Greek Orthodox diocese of Boston, the RSV is the translation of scriptures provided for us in the service books.


Question: will you review the NRSVue? I’m curious about the differences between this, the NRSVue and the original NRSV.

Love this bible ❤️ Highly recommended as family bible. Not for travelling and if you like to highlight this isn’t the bible for you. I’d like to keep it pristine ✨

I got the St Ignatius Bible large print edition (soft cover and hard cover editions, both dark blue covers )- I cherish both and read both in their entirety

Both are huge thick and heavy but the word font size of the main text is HUGE

There is also a 3rd version of the large print edition - a leather blue cover with gold edged pages ! It’s the most expensive of the three (I don’t own one because of the price )

Thanks for the review. I've been considering buying this Bible. I'll wait a bit since they will publish it with the Old Testament in a few months. It's a bit depressing that they call the deuterocanonical books 'apocrypha' on the title page. 🤨

I was born, educated, raised Roman Catholic. I’m now 65 and have only recently opened my eyes to realise how much I have forgotten and how much I am simply ignorant of.

I’d like to correct that by buying a decent Bible suitable for me (I suppose a ‘beginner’ as it’s been so long) to read and learn from.

Can you please recommend to me an appropriate Bible to purchase? I’m lost and confused. Would this Bible you’re reviewing be suitable?

Another thing…
I read an Amazon review that suggested it’s partially ‘politically correct’… it changing ‘gender’ words. I refuse to play this nonsense game. How bad is it actually?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

It has changed my life 😇

No regular Holy Bible would have because *Specifically the Books of Judith and Sirach which aren’t included…..

GOD Himself told me that THIS IS THE COMPLETE HOLY BIBLE-

IT’S HIS Before ANYTHING ELSE and is For ALL Religions.

Martin Luther was wrong for removing them-Since When does man know better than GOD??👎👎
