Recorded in Richmond, Indiana on January 29, 1930. Vocal chorus by Alberta Haynes. Personnel includes; Stan Stanley (Bartovsky)-s-v-d-director-arranger, Evan Maple-Ed Kupka, t, Dale Howig-Walt Anderson-tb, Ross Morrison-Paul Donnelly-Victor Hoagland-Stanley Phillips-reeds, Roy Ellis-p-a, Laurie Lee-bj, Ken Dall-bb-sb,
Stan Stanley, (b. Stanley P. Bartovsky 1906) led a band based in his home town of Cedar Rapids, Iowa for many years, at least until 1953. Toured extensively "38 states, Canada and Mexico" says one ad. They Broadcast on the radio, notably over WLW Cincinnati, from the Florentine Room of the Hotel Gibson in 1934.

Alberta Haynes-(1909-1947) also from Cedar Rapids, was "Miss Iowa City 1929". Sang with Stan Stanley's band at least from 1930-1933. Alberta was with George Williams Orchestra 1935. She performed solo later under name "Terry Shannon"

Ever since I heard Ambrose Orchestra with Sam Browne vocal! I Have found that I LOVE Each and every version I have Heard of this AWESOME Song! This version is a real Treat! I LOVE It!

Interesting that this Indiana band contained a certain Victor Hoagland .The legendary Indiana-born Hoagland {"Hoagy") Carmichael must at the very least be a distant relative .
