Ai 'Friend' wearable device - Is this a real product?!

Found this 'reveal trailer' for a new #ai #wearabledevices called "Friend" and after watching the #trailer I can't figure out whether this is a real #product or a very elaborate #prank

Basically it's a necklace that's connected to #chatgpt or #gemini (or another #llm) and it listens 24/7 to everything so it can be a better friend. Lots of questions about #privacy and stuff, but that seems to be the least of the problems.

The #usecase here is to help solve #loneliness - which is an incredibly good use case for #conversationalai and #chatbot BUT... why do they show an #ai agent that is not #empathetic and even bullies the user?

I'm curious if you think this is real, and if so, would you wear it?
