I dont care what others say about this game, but for me, seeing where Jamie and LDN started from to now seeing Jamie play in the Futsal Champions League just shows where hardwork can take you and as for Aberdeen, It is their first time, so they can learn on little things and improve like anyone else. I've seen a few comments saying that LDN would destroy Aberdeen, and I'm not sure if anyone who is saying that has actually played futsal or normal football at the highest level.

When you compete like that, there are a lot of differences to playing amateur or in non-professional leagues. First, all teams manage several formations and they can switch depending on the game that they are playing. Going from 4-0 to 3-1 or 2-2 is common. They also have incredible rotations depending on their formations and the status of the game. There are many amateur teams that have players that are good individually, and when you see them, it looks like they're amazing and have great technical skills, however, they tend to be unorganized and not as good tactically. In those scenarios, professional and organized teams, with clear tactics, and concepts of pressure, will win 10/10 times. Even Jamie said this, LDN does not manage several formations, they are team that plays more freely, and at the highest level it's not possible to compete like that.

Second, most teams have a physicality and stamina that will just go over any team that is not capable of keeping up. This impacts the pressure that they put other teams under. Either 1-1 pressure, zone pressure, rotational pressure. You might be great individually, but if you are under so much pressure that you can't receive or don't have any space when you do receive, then you're useless. In this video, it's evident that Jamie does not have the stamina to keep up at the same level that his teammates do. He also does not have the physical strength to allow his skills to be effective. That is another difference, LDN would not have the stamina or physicality to compete at this level.

See Aberdeen's captain for reference. One of the few people to almost never come off the pitch. Always doing pressure, always consistent and intense. He is on the pitch for most of the game. Getting to that level, is not easy at all. These guys from Aberdeen might not look skillful, or flashy, but they are pro at what they do. Even when you see their rivals, like Limassol and Linz, they are not that flashy, they are just efficient. Of course they have some skill along the way, but when you play pro, the goal is to win, not to do flashy/unnecessary things. You do so if it is a resource and you use it towards something, not just because you can.

I'm saying this to put things into perspective. Aberdeen gave Jamie the chance to compete at this level, which is something to praise. It's amazing that they have given him this opportunity. And, comments have been focused on things that are not true. I'm not trying to downplay LDN, because I admire Jamie and his team a lot, but saying that LDN would beat them or destroy them is just BS. Respect where respect is due.

Pro futsal matches are close, they are not as flashy as amateur futsal, its more boring in a way, but its part of being competitive. You defend close, give few spaces, try to open the field, etc.

Again, just saying my perspective, from someone who played pro in both futsal and 11 a side in my country. Yes, there might be more competitive leagues or countries than where you're from, but the top/pro level of any country in any sport is a whole different thing.

Second game now I’m convinced LDN would’ve put up a better resistance than this Aberdeen side honestly Phillipe TK are jus more mobile than what is being shown, even in goal I’m going with LDNs two from purely what I’ve seen over the two games thus far.

i’m only 16 mins into the video and one thing i’ve noticed is as a goalkeeper myself that’s played at highest level of 5 aside and can see your keeper very good but you can tell the goals you’ve conceded were very avoidable or could’ve be saved if the keeper didn’t come out as much and when i played futsal i did the same mistake as that’s what we’re taught in training in the uk especially even with 11 aside but yeah i definitely think if he stayed close to his goal he’d probably saved the first 2 easily as you can tell he’s a very good gk.

Austrian Futsal player here, just for context, Linz' #10 is a former Rapid Wien and LASK academy player, but ever since he only played in the lower leagues AFAIK.
Apart from that, that's basically the state of Futsal in AT. We have 2 league, 1st and 2nd Bundesliga with big quality differences even inside the leagues. Most good teams have a number of former academy players who still play lower league football and also play futsal in the winter. Some former professionals participate too, but mostly semi-pro from the 3rd, 4th, 5th divisions and lower.
