I appreciate Dr. Grunberg's contributions to science, but in my opinion, after completing undergraduate study in music, is that the perception of harmony is explained better by music theory than physics. I think its easier for most people to grasp concepts of voice leading and key relationships than mathematical observations based in physics. What kind of chords sound "right" when combined has more to do with cultural and aesthetic ideas on the things music should convey than mere scientific observation
