I remember in the school in Europe, we learn in the history class that Hitler had blod of Jewish from his grandparents. So what Russia say is not false

In school when we learn about WW2 and Hitler in World History subject, I remember our professor also mentioned to us that Hitler is part Jewish because of his grandparents so I always thought he is part Jewish so I never see any issue with what Russia minister said. 🤷🏻‍♀️ He also never mentioned it as fact. He even said I may be wrong. He just meant that having Jewish blood doesn’t excuse you because Hitler was said to be part Jewish as well. I see no problem w/ the statement.

There were some Jewish people taking part in the fascist movements of Europe after WWI. Fascist General Franco claimed Jewish ancestry, and Jewish members were part of the Italian fascist movement. Hitler's family history has some dark spots on it, and his ancestry is partly unknown.

Lavrov was not wrong when he said that some of the biggest antisemites are Jews themselves. Reinhard Heydrich was of Jewish descent, same for Göebbels. Also one of the poster boys for the Wehrmacht was a mischlinger, a half-Jew.
