Does no one have the ability to interpret meaning from things anymore? This commercial is a metaphor for the world we live in today. Everything is not what it appears to be. The “multi-colored, individualistic” parrot is being framed as the individual, but is preaching a message of conformity and saying how individualism is bad. While the “masses or common folk, ” framed as the look-alike parrots who miss when times were more free, and more about freedom of expression and individual thought and creativity, are the ones being framed as old and backwards. Do you get it already? You’ll be told what to do and who to be by the powers that be, and they’ll pretend they care about individualism when in reality they crush all originality and individualistic thought. Just drink your Red Bull, or do whatever we tell you to do, and shut up. We are living in dystopia.

Wow, as a millenniel this commercial is brutally out of touch with reality considering inflation and death rates are skyrocketing and world war is looming overhead.
