I had a friend, a new student actually, and we became really close friends. Like, she told me everything and I told her everything. She was the friend I had that I could have really deep conversations with, as well as share silly thoughts with. I remember one day, after she made a few new friends (these were people I didn’t like but I didn’t say anything because I didn’t wanna discourage her after she made new friends), I felt so far from her and then I realised- wasn’t I the one always initiating our conversations? How come she never actually felt the need to talk to me? I brought these concerns to my other friend, we were a part of a trio and she was the third member, who only brushed my concerns off saying I was overreacting. So, I didn’t text my friend anymore. I didn’t ghost her or anything, I still said occasional good mornings and greetings, but I didn’t initiate proper conversations anymore. I did this to see if she would actually ever initiate anything. She didn’t. Days passed, in school only the occasional “hey” was passed by, that’s it. That’s when I knew I lost her. So I got disconnected with my entire friend group- I said initially that we were a trio but we had three other friends too, I was just closer with the two I mentioned. I disconnected from everyone, no one asked if I was okay, no one spoke to me. This went on for months. One day, i saw a super old friend, someone who I met in the first grade. She immediately recognised me, asked how I was doing, actually spoke to me. We became friends again. The only reason we stopped being friends before was because I didn’t see her around and we didn’t use emails rlly. So, she introduced me to her friend group. I fit right in and now I am with the best friends I have ever made. Only after making these new friends have I realised that my old ones weren’t treating me right. I found out that real friends won’t belittle you for your concerns, and they will always trust you and make time for you. I found friendship that went two ways :)

I had a friend that was literally MISERABLE. All his friends left him and he was depressed and lonely. So I introduced him to my best friend and we became a trio together. What happened is he ended up being really toxic to both of us and in the end they stayed together as besties and left me aside lmaooo. Updateee: they've been in 3 different relationships in the span of 3 months. I truly believe that's the reason they stopped talking to me. They found alot of new people. When we became friends, they didn't have that much friends and now they suddenly have hundreds of friends, I guess they found new people, it's fine now I don't even feel hurt anymore. They did say when we were friends that maybe they won't talk to me if they get into a relationship, I guess that's the reason? Even tho leaving your friends without explaining just bcz you're in a relationship is a selfish move tho.
