The way he at first thought death was some kind of punishment for /him/ rather than just something that happens to anyone was so sad, especially so when he apologized "for everything"

It's just... Wow the way they showed that in so many ways the collector was simply a child who has yet to Learn so much... It's heartbreaking.

God when I rewatch these moments I think that the poor Collector is finally realizing that not only Luz died but also all of the Titans he's befriended in the past died as well. He says partially breaking down that "I don't want anyone else to go missing." This leads me to think he thought previously that the Titans we're disappearing only because he was "it" in their game of hide and seek or that they "broke", he could fix them later, and his siblings the Archivists took a couple of the Titans out of the game that they were playing cause they told him it was just that a game. He seems to be finally realizing that his games resulted in a lot of people he liked dying aka "going missing" and that's what caused him to start to cry. I do think he'll definitely not be the monsters his siblings seem to be.

It’s kinda disturbing how when he said “toys break all the time, you just fix them” he broke a toy that looked like him. It probably doesn’t mean anything but its still concerning 😭

I like how the collector uses a figure of themselves to demonstrate their idea.
It reinforces that the collector isn’t being coy about it by not placing their rules higher than themselves.

1:04 to 1:15 are just heartbreaking. Big Props to Fryda Wolff for delivering such a painful delivery that made us forget that the collector wasn't some all powerful cosmic being but a sad and scared child finding out the hard way how bad life can be

So the first time collector "killing" belos by playing tag was not him activatly wanting him dead but more of a time out for him. Yikes that couldve been bad for the group for his first human appearance of playing tag

The collector, before being trapt by King's dad, probably didn't learn the concept of death, since they and the archivist collect, they don't kill.
And then lil guy spent most their time with Belos, who make, kill, and remake the Golden Gard so many time, and literally toy with all of them.
No wonder they think if a human/witch "break", they can just fix them and nothing bad happen.

When you see him finally learn what death is when he picks up her hat and says that siblings couldn't have taken her...he learned also what his siblings actually did with the Titans.
I can't imagine how he must have felt.

The way this little guy just thinks when a person dies they just "broke" struck a cord when he realized he couldn't bring Luz back and soon learned what death is to mortals.

This little cutie had to learn the hard way especially after Belos tricked em and then betrayed em. When he finally got what he wanted. 💔💔💔

The sad this is that they things that the archives took little Titans. The Collector didn't knew they are killed by titan trappers. If Luz or King would told to the Collector they would be hearthbroken.
