A great question for Bible Study... "Can I really find Jesus in the Old Testament?" One of the strongest evidences of the inspiration of the Bible is the fact that 40 men, writing over a period of 1600 years, were able to create a unified message leading to Christ.

I just discovered the Hebrew word for Jesus (Yeshua) is the same word as "Salvation". Amazing to find verses with the word "Salvation" and read it as "Jesus". Isaiah 62:11- "Surely your salvation (Jesus) is coming; Behold His reward is with Him, and His work before Him".
Several more uses throughout! God is amazing!

Yes Isaiah talks about Jesus Christ 700 years before his birth 53:3 "He is despised and rejected of men ; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief;and we hid as it were our faces from him, he was despised and we esteemed him not".

Chapter 7 verses 28 -29
[KJV 1611 / Apocrypha]

"2 Esdras 7:28-29
[28]For my son Jesus shall be revealed with those that be with him, and they that remain shall rejoice within four hundred years.

[29]After these years shall my son Christ die, and all men that have life."

My take: 400 years before Jesus came into the world in the flesh.
