Eugene Robinson: Trump sent rioters to the Capitol, watched the violence, and said 'so what'

Federal prosecutors laid out their most extensive case yet against former President Donald Trump in a sweeping legal brief unsealed Wednesday, detailing his efforts to overturn the 2020 election. On #MorningJoe Eugene Robinson expressed disbelief that Donald Trump remains a “viable presidential candidate” despite his actions:
“This man whipped up a crowd, sent them to the Capitol... to threaten the lives of Congress members and his own VP to overturn the result of a free and fair election, and that guy is still a viable presidential candidate? What is wrong with us?”
