Diablo 2. LOD 1.14 Best Farming Route.

So today i wanted to take a trip down memory lane with the best game Blizzard has done to date. Diablo 2 The Lord of Destruction. I just wanted to give you guys what I find to be the absolute best MF path or Magic Find path in the game. I hope you enjoy let me know down in the comments below what your favorite path is.

This was 7 years ago, and I love that I came across it and it was made to share with the community. With the years of community insight, number crunching, and tests, I think can say there are efficiencies to add on top of this. For 1, a smiter is probably not optimal, not problem play what is fun for you. Also, don't single target down bosses. For almost all goals in farming you want to clear level 85 areas and Bosses with their minions.

I have a set route I always take that's usually very rewarding, depending on luck.

Long route:

Countess -> The Pit -> Andy -> Ancient Tunnels -> Trav -> Forgotten Temple -> Ruined Fane -> Disused Reliquary -> Meph -> Chaos -> Eldritch and Shenk -> Infernal Pit -> Pindle -> Nihlathak -> Baal -> sometimes Cows

The long route has a lot of easy to find 85 dungeons as well as bosses and popular super unique monsters. Usually takes around 30+ minutes due to finding all the 85 dungeons as well as floors for Andy, Nihlathak and Baal.

Short route:

Pit -> Andy -> Trav -> Meph -> Chaos -> Eldritch and Shenk -> Baal

The short route is just for quick farming because these are all easy to find and get to. Normally you can run the short route in an average of 10 mins, give or take.

But there are also other routes that you can farm that involve super chests only.

it's nice to use zeal to kill multiple enemies, you should try

also don't forget to open the chest behind mephisto after killing him

Also, If you press the globes you can have the numbers of the HP and MANA constantly on screen without putting your mouse cursor on top of it

that last cry you cast while bo'ing has no effect what so ever. It's used only on enemies to lower their defenses. and you wanna cast battle command twice to increase the level of your next battle command :P

Hey man, liked the video. One thing I would critique is the sound design. Basically the first obvious solution is to leave the voice level the same and turn down the game sounds, but if you really wanna get legit and professional you can buy studio level microphones and do equalizing. You increase the voice sound at certain wavelengths and then subtract that same region in your game dialogue. This makes it so the volume is still there, but you can hear your voice more clearly without any interruptions. Easiest way to learn though is through youtube tutorials on mixing voice. GG!

I've always gotten pretty good drops from nightmare Mephisto and up.

Also if you want to do cows, make another character and finish all three difficulties. Mf the rest of the game, then bring in the alt character, make cows with him and leave and come back with your main. You can kill King with main and still have your alt to make cows with. I bring this up because the cow King has a really good drop table and from my experience open socket items and hr's have a relatively higher drop rate in cows. (Though it's still pretty rare to get an hr drop anywhere, I have had quite a few this season, including jah and vex in one cow run).

Best farming route : Countess -> Pit -> Andy -> Ancient Tunnels -> Meph -> Diablo -> Eshcuta -> Shenk -> Pindle -> Baal. There is a myth that speed beats variety. It doesn't. I use a blizzballer sorc with Infinity and can do all that in about 15-20 mins.

Pro-tip, use a sorce and get higher fcr breakpoints than your paladin. Really adds up when doing runs that require mapping.
Eldritch/Pindle/Shenk/Trav for characters without tele/low fcr.
Doesn't matter how you pronounce shit.
