I absolutely LOVE how real your video's are. I really enjoyed your show but to be honest, I prefer these videos much more because the non scripted changes (dogs barking, wrong pot used, maybe 1 more T of flour), that's what happens to us when we're in the kitchen. THANK YOU & MUCH LOVE! 🥰

This is so much better than any show a television network would have her make.

My grandma used to make a homemade chocolate pie for dinner after church every Sunday. She passed about three years ago and it was one of my regrets that I didn’t get her recipe. Thank you! I will try this one!

This is exactly how my Mother made chocolate cream pie. She made homemade crust with lard. We made everything from scratch back then. This is real food!

I never really watched your shows on tv when I was younger. Just never caught it but since maturing and coming on my 40th bday soon, I have tried to master my passion of cooking.
And I still don't watch a lot of "cooking shows", I just sort of learn as I go.
But I really enjoy watching your YouTube channel.
It feels like a chat with an old friend while learning some great recipes.
I don't care about the negative publicity that came your way years ago, as I don't know the whole story.
But even someone who is mixed, like myself, don't really care NOW.
People change, grow, blossom and it seems you have!
I love your cooking "chats", your ability to laugh at mistakes, and still go with the flow! Like a regular ol' household kitchen filled with family and love! I can't afford to buy all your brand name stuff for cooking or your books but I'm glad there is something like this!
I love how you share a story as well almost every time! It's incredibly comforting in this time.
Keep doing what you do! (If you ever read these comments) Much love and blessings.

I'm an 'older' woman, ASKING to watch you make LEMON meringue pie. Many are far too sweet, thin, & runny. Please put a smile on my face. Sending you a big ol' hug! 🌻🌷🌻🌷🌻🌷🌻♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I made chocolate pudding with cornstarch instead of flour. The recipe was on the back of the box. I can't believe how good it was, and it was my first attempt at making homemade pudding. It didn't have any eggs, just cornstarch, milk, cocoa powder, some melted semi-sweet chocolate chunks for extra decadence, and vanilla. I didn't add any sugar, as the semi-sweet chocolate was just enough sweetness for me. The cornstarch was called Rapunzel. It's organic and non-gmo. If you try this recipe Paula, please let me know if you like it. I value your opinion, as you are indeed the queen of the cooking world.

One day I was showing my daughter how to make a custard for a Banana pudding and having to stir constantly.
Later i got to wondering how I knew how to make a Banana pudding. Then I remembered my mother calling me in to "stir this Custard constantly and don't let it scorch, it burns easy". I loved Banana pudding so it was a lesson easy learned. When Mamma made meringue, like putting up corn, she wanted me "out of the way". Mamma had one special stainless bowl that fit her mixer just right that she made meringue and Divinity candy in. I was the "bowl lickker" for all occasions. Love your show.
