Sadly had to remove the original journey to the west celestial symphony clip (the tv show) due to some copyright issues. but wow!

The theme part of this song (derived from the 1986 TV series theme) is probably as iconic as the Star Wars theme for Asian people.

As a Vietnamese, I listened to this song throughout my youth, every summer with the Journey to the West TV show. When I first heard it in the trailer, I pre-ordered the game instantly. Thank you, Game Science, for bringing back my childhood memories

The original composer is Mr. Xu Jingqing, who created most of the music of Journey to the West in 1986, and has been waiting 30 years for crowdfunding to start a Journey to the West theme concert, now he is 82 years old, when he saw his music appeared in the Black myth WuKong is very excited, the old music is rejuvenated in the new field, he said that the game screen is beautiful, the fight scenes are fantastic, He even said he wanted to play hahaha, there are so many foreign friends like his music, I think he'd be very happy about that。

my god. I’m Chinese and, this hit hard!! This is the theme to 80s TV drama Journey to the West. This is literally a part of our childhood. There were some electronic music elements in the original 80s track ( like the one in the beginning) making it a very trendy and a bit controversial music back in 80s china. Back then the genre was still very new to the market

With tears streaming down my face... it's no longer Captain America facing Thanos' army before me... but the childhood superhero, holding the most powerful staff in the world, wearing the brightest golden armor, standing on the most beautiful cloud in the world. In front of him are countless heavenly soldiers and generals, but he just sneers with disdain. With one strike of his staff, he shatters all injustices and evil between heaven and earth, and with one kick, he breaks all the shackles and constraints of the human world... I finally realize that this demon monkey is the hero I've always wanted.

Dudeeee, lemme tell you! The hype when Kratos picked up his blades ain't got nothing on this. The 1986 TV shows are what keeps children in the southeast Asian country to have sweet dinner tv times for almost 40 years.

I legit cried and scream when I heard it in Blackmyth. This piece of music is what defines the legends of the Journey to the West, just like how LOTR trilogy defines the angelic feelings of the world of Tolkien.

China has so much great everything to offer, the world needs to know! China needs to produce more iconic products like this to deliver its great culture and history!!! It's a shame that most westerners got to know China only through toxic and super biased western media.

Those who have watched the TV show will be able enjoy this way more immensely because it hits the nostalgia so hard.

As a Chinese player myself, this game hits so hard in so many places because of the nostalgia. Even the soundtracks when fighting the bosses hit just the right way. Journey to the West was one of my favorite cult classics growing up and I'm so glad to see this game come out and so many around the world are enjoying it!

BGM is performed by the China National Orchestra of China. The Central Chinese Orchestra is a state-level art troupe directly under the Ministry of Culture, consisting of a large national orchestra, a national chorus, a music creation center and other departments.

That motif is deeply drilled into the DNA of a lot of Asian players. It echos so so hard.

In Southeast Asia, for people in many countries, the main theme of the TV series Journey to the West is a childhood memory, just like the familiar music of Disney.

I don't think people didn't watch the 1986 JTW will truly appreciate this piece. To us watched it as children, Sun Wu Kong is not just a powerful character, he is a hero, a trustworthy friend.
