This is a tabletop review of the CANIK METE SFT 9MM. In this video we will discuss the history and development of the firearm, and provide side by side comparison with other popular models to establish scale and help visualize what it would be like carry this based on familiar platforms. We will outline all of the features, and how these features may or may not be important to you based on your personal needs. I have a newer one and my trigger pull out of 3 pulls averages 2.9 pounds and I installed a Holosun EPS Carry Red Dot. It's very smooth trigger pull and about 1/8 inch reset.

2 gripes. One, plastic optics mount. Two, can only mount optics designed for carry guns. I bought both the sfx blackout and the mete sfx at the same time. Being able to mount a full size pistol optic on the sfx is a game changer. Also being right handed the ambi stuff isnt a big deal. Both triggers are virtually the same. Prolly get a freedomsmith for the sfx and throw a light in the mete for a nice home defense pistol.

Concealment express sells a hybrid that fits it. If anyone was thinking of concealing this firearm.

Purchased a Mete SFT recently. Owner of 2 of its predecessor the TP9SF which I have loved since day 1. Only reason I got the Mete SFT was for the cutout for a red dot if I ever choose to get one as my eyes age. So far, I'm still a hard core hard sights shooter. My TP9SF's have tritium hard sites upgrades and I'm seriously considering them for the Mete SFT as I just can't accept that a piece of technology will probably fail at the very moment I need it to work, I carry off body so it's size isn't as big of an issue as it would be for others who on body carry. I may be paranoid but I carry a total of 4-18 round mags because I live behind enemy lines in Oregon and if the leftists decide to repeat what they did during the 2020 summer riots, I want to be prepared.

Thats super awesome pistol. But my peice have a stucking issue on 2nd or 3rd shot. Or slide stucks half inche from end point😢

It's not that hard to disassemble. Make sure the pin is forward pull the tabs and that it. You DO NOT have to pull the slide back at all.

Anyone have experience concealed carrying the Mete SFT? I’m considering this as part of my rotation but hearing conflicting opinions about whether I should conceal carry this weapon.

Caniks TP9 Elite SC is more like a Glock 19, once you out a 15 round mag in it, they straddle at times the GLock equivelent
