Many people, like me, don't watch just to be entertained. We watch to learn. I wish you would talk more, tell us what you're doing, teach us. We watch you because you're very good.

I'm watching this because you were honest about turning resin - even though you were mainly turning wood here. I'm liking it because you made something which is genuinely beautiful.

I hope you influence other Youtube "wood turning" channels who mainly turn resin (with wood inclusions) to admit that they're turning resin.
There is nothing wrong with resin and it can be really beautiful, as you've just proved. This was an inspired work of genius, thanks for sharing.

My wife would absolutely love that piece, hell I love it.

the glitter and gold plus the wood's tones was hot enough. then you top that with LEDs, and blow my mind. the last part when you faded to black, it made the resin part look like a scene on some planet somewhere.

I so wish I'd taken woodwork instead of bricklaying, I've made use of bricklaying but I love working with wood now, your work inspires me so much.

This is absolutely stunning! Even without the light. The glitter and that gold and the wood grain absolutely gorgeous! A light feature was totally unexpected bonus WOW.. Us women really appreciate glitter! Was the jar glitter or was that an interference color? 😆 maybe in a upcoming vlog you could use some holographic glitter and or an interference pigment for color shift? I'm sure you don't appreciate that. I'll keep my ideas to myself from now on 😆 😆 😆 all of your art projects are always amazing to me😘✌

Brilliant piece Jack, I wasn't expecting it to result in a light feature. Looks great, take care, John

Oh wow! It looks like a diorama of the Aurora Borealis over the mountains 🤗🥰 I love the rose gold effect of the glitter. I would be interested to see it with a white light to highlight the beauty of the pigment you chose. Beautiful piece ❤

Wow, this one blew my mind! Count me among the lads and lassies who love glitter. 😂 I'm easily distracted by bright, shiny objects and this fits the bill. I think this one is my favorite of all your projects so far. I didn't know what it was until you turned on the light. Amazing work, Jack.

Light from the glow is incredible, and then the wood looks like a horizon with moonlight, sunset, etc.

The resin part reminds me of the best part of making homemade taffy as it cools on the platter. Turning into a lamp is gorgeous.

Thankyou Sir,
That was beautiful viewing.
I expected you to make a bowl/receptical, with a lid, to be placed on a sideboard. It was amazing what you made with your skills, especially when you applied oils/wax to the woodgrain, and then placed a light source inside.
I do something along those lines, making wooden forms, then waxing them. The woodgrain just comes to life.
It's like electricity running through your fingers, just a lovely experience.
Thankyou for posting. Great respect and good luck! Take care.
Ps. I could sit with that in my lap, just constantly running my fingers around and over the form, never tiring. It's just beautiful. Woodgrain is just amazing.

Great idea. I have a small piece of Maple burl that would be an awesome nightlight for one of my grandchildren using this method. Thanks for the video and idea.
