actually Guayaquil is like the new york city of Ecuador, so even if there is so much crime, it's the most prosper city on Ecuador

Let's face it, unfortunely Guayaquil City has always been known in the world as a horrible and dangerous port, full of crime and corruption among the people. A few years ago I remember a german newspaper posted a column tittled: "Guayaquil, la pestilente perla del Pacifico". That was so sad.
