I'm a Biologist who got a degree in Climate & Energy science but was unable to find a position that was doing anything worthwhile to combat climate change. I'm starting a new position in two weeks that will give me more freedom, especially the freedom to speak my mind. I'm going to try my best to convert my LLC to a sustainability/climate based company and consult. If I were to just volunteer 2-5 hours a week to a non-profit based around climate i'd be able to sleep better. At the moment I feel like a traitor to myself and humanity, but I also feel empowered again. Something must change.
