The update failed. The gasfees are still high as sh*t. ETH has become utility wise even worse. Enough ETH get's lost already by failed transactions. What good is it to burn ETH. Just a fast cash grab for Vitalik. I hope XRP kills it. It is faster, cheap and greener. ETH is a thing of the past.
