Even with this off my phone still auto downloads software updates as soon as I connect to wifi when one is available and then will force the install if I keep delaying it. This doesn't work anymore.

So exactly why is this option set to off for me yet it still auto updates? I have dev ON and I have auto updates in this category set to OFF. Yet I'm still getting forced updates.
Legit feels like im being raped by samsung/att. I dont want to update yet it force downloads and force installs. This shit should be illegal.

I tried this method, yet it didnt show the "developer options" under the "about this phone"😢. Why it didnt showed? I mean, my dad uses s22+(i think?) or the s22 only. Could u explain why it didnt show on my dad's s22 the developer options? Thanks!❤

My S22 ultra does not have the developer mode icon. I went into every icon listed and it was nowhere to be found. This might work for the old software version. My phone has the UI 5 operating system which is all together different. Thanks BC

How well did this work I don't want to update my s22 ultra to 13 all it is is an overlay that drains battery even more don't like the features so I tried your method and for some parent reason it still shows that there's an update due on my device could you explain how that works

My phone (Samsung Galaxy 22 Ultra) does not have the "DEVELOPER OPTIONS".
Is there another way to disable the automatic updates?
Every time my phone updates, it changes my settings, such as time/date.
It is extremely annoying.

That is not the S22 uUtra I have. There is no folder that I can find, that is called developer options. Perhaps Verizon (my provider) does not allow it???

My phone forced update anyway with that switched off AND with it set to wifi only. So that doesn't work. Any other ideas?

I don't have 'Developer Options' on my S22. All I have closest to that is 'Software Update' which doesn't have an on/off option, just wi-fi or cellular.

When you make these videos you need to say not all phones are the same in all countries, when I pull down my screen in the home setting it doesn't have settings or developer options.

Found developer settings and still nothing there
