Nothing has been signed and until it is signed by EU there is no agreement. MPs laughing. When you vote to leave you leave - but then to push for EU to negotiate is crazy. Her speeches have said the same thing for weeks, months and two years. OH MAY

A quote from Oliver Cromwell...
“It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonoured by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice; ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government; ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.

This isn't a divorce proposal, it's a proposal to go from being registered married to having a strict marriage that you cannot divorce from, with one partner having legal dominance over the lesser partner.

BREXIT SIMPLIFIED -

The family needed a better home. Dad thought he'd found the perfect spot. It had great views, and that was because it was on top of a cliff. Being a democratic family they agreed to vote on whether to leave for the cliff, or to remain in town. They had three children and decided arbitrarily that 12 was the minimum voting age, so their youngest child couldn't vote. Mum argued that the cliff was further from the shops and it would be harder to get food. The son said he wanted to remain in town to hang out with his friends. So those two voted to remain. But Dad, the older daughter and grandma, voted to leave — therefore they went ahead with the purchase. A survey was carried out and eventually contracts were exchanged.

At this point there was a shock phone-call from the director of the surveying company. He told them that the surveyor they had sent out (who had since left the company) had supplied false information. He advised the family not to go ahead because there was a strong possibility that the house they were planning to move into would crash into the sea!

The family suffered a further setback: that night grandma died in her sleep. But soon after the funeral there was a cheerful event when their youngest child reached her twelfth birthday. Like her brother she felt it would be more fun to stay in town rather than live in isolation on top of a cliff. In the light of all this the mother demanded a second vote. The first time the majority had been in favour of leaving, but now the numbers would be 3 to 2 to remain. The father said no way. He argued, rather badly and paradoxically, that it was undemocratic to vote. He said they had made their decision and must stick to it no matter what.

The mother was astonished, “You mean you want to put the lives of our children in peril by moving to a house that's likely to fall into the sea?!”

“Yes, ” he replied. “We've signed the initial contract, and put in a lot of time and effort to get this far. We have to stick to our plan. If the house starts to move I'll make you a nice cup of tea and a bacon sandwich.

Should of spent your 2 years actually building policies to create a smooth transition to brexit. Spent 2 years trying to get out of it instead. The fact we have definitions of Brexit tells you all you need to know.
