Those rib crushing bear hugs, using Baki like human nunchucks, he was playing with his son and showing affection in his own way. In the world of Baki the Grappler, this twisted carnival of blood, piss, tears and catastrophic pain was the most profound expression of familial love that could be mustered by these two characters.

The reason why yujiro gave baki the title as strongest is because the essence of strength is to enforce ones will, all baki really wanted was his pops to cook a meal for him, baki enforced his will on the strongest man on the planet by making him tofu at the end, the fight itself was jus to kids who finally found the toy they can play with how they like

I've read the entire Baki manga dozens of times, probably one of my favourite reads. In the end, Baki made Yujiro believe the dinner was real (when he flipped the table), and Yujiro lost. However, Baki tells us that his father taught him that the true winner is always the one standing in the end, which was Yujiro. Therefore, he won. Ultimately, they called it a draw as they were both satisfied with one another. Absolute great adaptation by Netflix

There are many kinds of fights. Some fights are to win, some fights to teach, some for acceptance, and some simply to survive. For Yujiro, this was a fight to teach. For Baki, it was a mixture of a fight for acceptance and a fight to win. Neither of them were looking to mortally injure the other.

In the end, they both won. Yujiro was able to teach Baki the lessons he wanted, and Baki finally earned the respect and affection of his father.
