In recent interviews with Vanity Fair, Hemsworth expressed a desire for Thor's next MCU appearance to be his last. This shift in perspective could stem from the mixed reactions to Thor: Love and Thunder, but after over a decade in the role, it’s understandable that Hemsworth might be ready to move on.

However, Thor’s story doesn’t necessarily have to conclude with Thor 5; a future Avengers film could also mark the end of the God of Thunder. Despite this uncertainty, fans were promised that "Thor will return," and here’s the latest on Thor 5.
