On the cool, for all who is saying this midi keyboard ain’t for them just got to remember. This is useful to somebody that needs it. I don’t need it but as a midi controller I think it’s dope with its features.

I grabbed the latest Arturia Keylab essentials and it’s pretty much the best controller ever made for Apple Logic. Grabbed the notation fl key and that mug got then beat feeling keys I’ve ever touched on a keyboard.

If it don’t have 16 pads in a 4x4 layout, I’m paying for stuff I won’t use. I love my minilab for its keys, but the pads are terrible.

I'm glad i still have my keylab pro 61 mk2.. nice display but small .. i have no problem looking at my 2 curve 32 in monitors 😊😊

Still using my key lab essential 61, mpc key 🔑 61, komplete kontrol a25, and my MicroFreak, I'm done with no need for any new keyboard midi controllers still nice to see the new 🫡👍🏾🫡

I use Studio one. That is a deal breaker, but Arturia is very good about fixing issues. Thanks for pointing that out

If you have KeyLab mk2 skip this one, MK3 is a downgrade in many ways, fewer pads, missing 12 buttons from the fader side and 7 in and outs from the rear, no CV functionality, bye bye modular and analog synths, but the screen is nicer :o).
What were they thinking?

My only two complains about Arturia controllers has been not having faders on the left and also with 'audio interface'. I believe that would have been dope😜
In future that's where we are heading, controllers with audio interface🤷‍♀

My question is how is the integration with its effects and programs to the MPC Live 2? Can those plugin modifications of chord progressions and melodies flow seamlessly with the MPC software? My main thoughts are saying no since its two different softwares unless the plugins and modulations are integrated into a wave file or some sort, but is it possible? For example, I modulate the sound of the keys as I am playing to record into the MPC Live 2 and keep the workflow still the same without interruption instead of having to record the sound of the modulated keys, then save it as a wav file to integrate into the MPC Live 2 and go from there. I was thinking of getting the Akai MPC Key 61 which would make sense to easily integrate with the MPC Live 2. Last question: Is that a weighted key bed or are they just big and light to press?
